Newfoundland, 2016

While researching Prince Edward Island, Fiona started looking into the wonders of Newfoundland, and sorry PEI, Green Gables just couldn’t compete with Gros Morne. The rest of the family weren’t as keen to spend 2 weeks in this chilly northern province. But, not only were they persuaded to give it a try, it became one of their favourite holidays. Where else can you so easily visit one of the corners of the world (sorry flat earther’s we didn’t see an edge, but we were almost blown away). Some of the highlights: Eating with moose on an overnight hike in Gros Morne National park, swimming with icebergs and having a picnic with puffins.
